This book is not easy to read. It wasn't easy to write, either. Some parts might be tough for some readers, but I hope you'll still give it a chance. Although it's a work of fiction, many of the events reflect real-life experiences for a lot of people in different ways. Maybe you're one of them: the broken, the lost, the outcasts, the survivors.

Please remember, this isn't a guide or a self-help book. I tried to handle the difficult topics with care, though sometimes it gets intense. I'm not perfect and I'm still learning. My way might not suit everyone, and that's okay.

In the end, I stayed true to my characters and their story. I hope that's enough for you, too. It's not all dark; at its heart, this is still a love story.
